Sri Lankan community in Europe made a peaceful demonstration against the LTTE and the Swiss government on Saturday at Waisenhausplatz in Bern-Switzerland, despite heavy rain. The Swiss - Sri Lankan community organizes the rally.

Spokesman of the organising committee of the Saturday’s demo Mr.Abeyasdinghe Gamage said around four hundred Tamils and Sinhala community in Italy, Germany, UK and Swiss gathered to Bern and hold their demonstration opposite the Parliament of Switzerland.

They asked the Swiss government to stop fund allocation for the allied organisations of the LTTE. Speaking to media through telephone he said Sri Lankan community wants peaceful environment in Sri Lanka and other countries.The LTTE is a dangerous terrorists and always make violence against peace loving citizens.
