Leader of the Jathika Hela Urumaya parliamentarian Venerable Ellawela Medhananda Thera says time has come for all to join hands disregarding petty political objectives, to find a solution to the national problem.

The Venerable Thera said that the entire world has identified that the LTTE is engaged in a barbaric terrorism.

He added the humanitarian work commenced with the Mavillaru operations has been able to restore civilian life in many parts of the northern and eastern provinces. Certain politicians refrain from commenting on these victories due to sheer jealousy. Venerable Medhananda Thera also said the liberation of Kilinochchi without causing any harm to the civilians is a difficult task but added that the gallant soldiers will fulfill this mission with great patience.
