Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets carried out two more raids for the day (Sept 10) targeting LTTE positions in Kilinochchi.

Air Force spokesperson Janaka Nanayakkara speaking to defence.lk said that the jets raided an ammunition storage and distribution point of LTTE located 2.5 Km East of Udayarkattukulam Tank around 10 AM.

The other air raid was carried out by the jets targeting place where LTTE cadres were building a new defence using earth moving vehicles in the East of Akkarayankulam area around 12.10 PM, he said.

Wing Commander Nanayakkara added that the both attacks were successful.
