The JVP has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the government's action of handing over its Parliamentary seat from the national list to another.

JVP Parliamentarian Sunil Handunneththi said his party decided to take legal action against the breach of the UPFA MoU between the SLFP and the JVP by denying the Parliamentary seat that his party is entitled to.
