An
anti-terrorist photo exhibition displaying the brutality
of the LTTE's terrorism was opened at the Sri Lankan embassy
in Hauge in Netherland yesterday. A similar exhibition
was held in London early this month. This is the first
time that such an exhibition was held in Europe. Sri Lankan
ambassador to Netherlands Mrs. Grace Asirvadan at the
opening of the exhibition said the time has come for the
LTTE to lay down their arms and start negotiations with
the Sri Lankan government. The government is stating all
efforts to fulfil the needs of Tamils. She said the international
community including Europe should pay their special attention
on brutal activities of the LTTE.
