MULLAITTIVU: LTTE terrorists sustained heavy damages when Troops launched fierce attacks at on Saturday morning at 8.30, 10.30, 11.05 and again at 1.30, 1.45 in the afternoon and in the evening at 4.50 in the area of ANDANKULAM, MULLAITTIVU. 91(ninety one) Anti- personnel mines and three(03) Improvised explosive devices were also recovered by Troops in the same area in search operations conducted from 8.00 in the morning until 4.00 in the evening.

Meanwhile, Troops attacked a terrorist underground bunker again in the ANDANKULAM area on the same day on Saturday(25) morning at 7.00 and took over a terrorist underground bunker. Troops believe that the bunker could well have been a medical center to cater for their injured as a search recovered field dressings and a large quantity of bottles of saline and the accessories required for dispensing.

Army Artillery and mortar fire also targeted LTTE terrorist vehicles as well as terrorist groups in the ANDANKULAM area on Saturday (25) inflicting heavy damages around 1.45 and 2.00 in the afternoon .

Troops attacked and destroyed a terrorist bunker and inflicted heavy damage in ANDANKUAM area, MULLAITTIVU also on Saturday (25) at 5.05 in the evening.
