KILINOCHCHI: The ANAVELLUTTAN area situated North of VENNARIKULAM was completely captured by the troops of 58 division causing heavy damages to the LTTE terrorists yesterday (21). Meanwhile two LTTE bunkers in the AKKARAYANKULAM area were destroyed by the troops of the same division inflicting severe damages to the terrorists around 5.05pm yesterday (21).

Two T-56 assault rifles were recovered by the troops in a search operation conducted in AKKARAYANKULAM area around 2.50pm yesterday (21).
