Mandiraya' - a
shrine for relics was opened for worship at the Samadhi
Buddhist Meditation Centre in Campbellfield, Victoria,
Australia on 5th of October 2008.
Five
and a half feet tall brass replica of a 'Stupa' crowned
with a large crystal pinnacle and decorated with glittering
jewels and matching chains was brought to the temple
premises in a long and colorful procession.
The
replica was housed in the ‘Dhathu Mandiraya’
and relics of Lord Buddha and a large number of Buddha
statues and valuable items offered by devotees were
placed inside its body.
