When
it's Yuvraj Singh in action in Twenty20 cricket sixes ought to
fly off his lofty willow. His 25-ball 31 cameo against Australia
in Mumbai today included three sixes, which has now made him the
leading six-hitter with 15 sixes in his T20I career.
Yuvraj
overtakes New Zealand's Craig McMillan, who held the record previously
with 14 sixes.
On
Saturday, Yuvraj showed why he is feared most by fast bowlers
in world cricket, especially in T20.
The
south paw produced yet another sparkling knock against Australia
at the CCI in Mumbai to set the Kangaroos hopping as Yuvraj smashed
an unbeaten 31 off 25 deliveries to see India home.
Yuvraj,
who of late has had a penchant for scoring sixes against the faster
bowlers took Aussie speedster Stuart Clark for two successive
sixes - both hooks, which reminded everyone of the punishment
he handed over to England's Stuart Broad in the World Cup T20
in Durban last month. |
