Sir Edward Dunlop Foundation CENTENARY SYMPOSIUM 2007

It was announced today by the artistic director of the Sir Edward
Dunlop Medical Research Foundation that Sri Lankan born singer-songwriter
ALSTON KOCH has been invited for a special performance in the
evening at the symposium for H.E The Governor General of the Commonwealth
of Australia Major General Michael Jeffry AC CVO MC. Alston Koch,
with triple accredited A.R.I.A awards and 2 Platinum awards in
Australia amongst other International Awards will perform with
the Symphony Orchestra on 2nd November at The Rendevous Hotel
at 328 Flinders Street in Melbourne.
Other
distinguished guests on the evening of the 2nd will include Dame
Elizabeth Murdoch, Patriach of the Murdoch global empire, Hon
Bruce Billson MP (Canberra, ACT) Minister for Veterans Affairs
and Minister assisting the Minister of Defence.
The
Symposium will be opened earlier by Tony Charlton AM (Master of
Ceremonies) also attending will be Mr Dino De Marchi KSJ RFD,
Mr.Gary Jamieson APM,Proffessor David De Kretser AC Governor of
Victoria,Professor David Bradt from Baltimore USA,Professor Mark
Fitzgerald ASM,Professor Jeffrey Rosenfeld,Professor Thomas Kossmann
and Brigadier Bill Rolfe.
Mr.
Alston Koch has performed earlier for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth
in Sri Lanka, The Prince of Wales Prince Charles in 1996, The
Presidents of Indonesia & Sri Lanka, The King of Malaysia,
The Sultan of Pahang and the late Indira Gandhi.
