Osuwinna is located Six km from Ranminithenna . Another Six km from Osuwinna, the Tissamaharama Police in the morning today (08) found Two bodies hacked to death in a Chena in the jungle . The bodies are now lying in the Debarawewa hospital.

The bodies are those of two farmers from Kudagammanahatha of Weerahena identified as 55 year old R.M Abewardana and 54 year old G.M Padmasiri.

Meanwhile Police Posts have been established in Nimalawa, Babuwa, Uddagandhara, Koragahaulpotha, Ruwanwewa, Ranminithenna and Palatupanamurapola.

The Security Forces are also conducting search operations in the area.

The Security Forces and the Police request that the people living in the area to stay in their village without moving out until the completion of search operations.
