Troops advancing forward locations have confirmed that three LTTE terrorists were killed North of Giant’s Tank Area in a confrontation this morning (22) around 9 a.m. in Mannar and five more terrorists were also confirmed killed in a confrontation in Adampan South area. Troops sustained no damages. Media Center for National Security informs.

In another incident six LTTE terrorists are reported to have been killed in the attack launched by Troops this morning (22) at 2.00 am in Muhamalai.

In a separate incident in Mannar Yesterday (21) the Army launched an artillery attack at identified LTTE terrorist targets in Villayathikulam. LTTE communication intercepts confirm that seven terrorists were killed and five injured in this artillery attack.
