President Mahinda Rajapaksa's third Budget presented in
the Parliament by the President him self as the Minister
of Finance on behalf of the Government was passed by obtaining
118 votes while 102 voted against.JVP, UNP and TNA voted
against. Nandana Gunatillake and Wijedasa Rajapakse abstained
from voting.
Ven.
Uduwe Dhammaloka Thero, Mr. Puthrasigamani and Mahinda Rathnatilaka
of UNP voted with the Government in support of the Budget.
