The UNP began collecting signatures for the impeachment against the government at Athurugiriya today. UNP states it would collect 5 million signatures from all corners of the island. The signature campaign was started with the leadership of UNP Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe. Speaking to those who had gathered Mr. Wickremasinghe said the government was violating Parliamentary traditions.
