Five terrorists were killed and two others injured when troops effectively responded at an LTTE offensive preparation at the Nagarkovil forward defences this morning (November 17).

Troops attacked an LTTE bunker line consisting five bunkers destroying two, today at 9:20 a.m., Army sources said.

According to ground troops, an LTTE body was recovered along with a T-56 assault riffle.
No damages were caused to own troops, security sources said.
