Government
national list MP President's Counsel Wijedasa Rajapkse crossed
over to the opposition today (14) morning at the parliament.
The
MP sought the permission of the Speaker to make a special
statement on his decision.
The
political critics analyze his crossover during the second
reading of the Government's third budget as a crucial turn
of events.
Rajapakse
is a member and a legal adviser of the Sri Lanka Freedom
Party (SLFP) since the President Chandrika's time. He is
the Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE)
and fought unwaveringly against corruption.
