A Coordinating Secretary of a senior Minister is to be questioned on the LTTE attack at Anuradhapura air base. The individual named Pradeepan, a resident of Batticaloa, had links with the LTTE and was earlier accused of selling robbed luxury vehicles to Vanni.

This Coordinating Secretary was the contractor of the project of broadening the runaway of Anuradhapura air base. Investigations revealed that LTTE suicide cadre appearing as a loyal of Karuna worked under the Coordinating Secretary as a driver.

164 workers and 94 vehicles were deployed by the Coordinating Secretary for the work of the runaway.
