The Australia Ceylon Fellowship (ACF) celebrated their Golden Jubilee on Saturday 17 May 2008 at The International in Brighton with the Governor of Victoria, Professor David de Kretser and Mrs de Kretser as Chief Guests.
Both the State Government and Opposition were represented at this occasion together with the Chairperson of the VMC (Victorian Multicultural Commission) and a senior member of the Executive Committee of the ECCV (Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria). There were also several members of other local Sri Lankan organisations.
