ROSHAN MAHANAMA has just commenced his current assignment as ICC Match Referee in Bangladesh for the India Vs. Bangladesh series. He is shown here with Bertram Ekenaike and Quintus de Zylva of the Sri Lanka Cricket Foundation of Victoria.

Roshan commenced his ICC match referee Test Debut in 2004 when the West Indies played Bangladesh. His last test match referee assignment was at Cape Town in January this year when South Africa played India. He has been match referee in 13 test matches and 68 ODI's.

Roshan was the first recepient of a scholarship awarded by the Sri Lanka Cricket Foundation of Victoria. He and Gamini Perera from Maharagama spent three months in Melbourne playing for Doncaster-Fitzroy and Prahran respectively.

Roshan is married to Geeva and they have three daughters Rashmika, Sajni and Ruvinya
