LTTE launched Tharishanam TV channel in Europe

The LTTE terrorists in Europe has launched the second TV pay channel Tharishanam from yesterday by broadcasting via stat elite "Makkal " Television Tamil channel of Chennai, India, floated by Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) founder S. Ramadoss.

The LTTE terrorists earlier announced that they intend to launch a new TV channel called Tharishanam from this week onwards. Accordingly they began broadcasting the Makkal TV channel in the name of Tharishanam.

Even though the LTTE terrorists has commenced the broadcast of Tharishanam using the Makkal TV, it is still not clear whether they will continue broadcasting the program of the Makkal TV alone or whether they will also include Tiger propaganda materials in the newly launched channel.

Earlier, the LTTE in their Mathuram TV channel announced of the commencement of the Tharishanam TV channel.

They announced that the new channel would transmit Eelam news, the dramas that were broadcast in the now shut down TTN channel and other programs.

Suddenly in the name of Tharishanam they started broadcasting the Makkakl TV channel from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Makkal , a Tamil satellite TV channel promoted by the Makkal Tholai Thodarpu Kuzhumam, was launched on September 6, last year is owned by PMK which is one the alliance partners of United Progressive Front, the India's ruling alliance.

PMK is a pro-LTTE party in India and that TV from its inception eight months ago do not transmit cinema but transmit strong Tamil national programs.

Dr. Ramadoss, a strong pro LTTE supporter runs programs to support LTTE propaganda materials in his Makkal TV. Sources said PMK had come forward assist the LTTE with their propaganda drive.

Recently PMK organized a protest march in front of the French Embassy in Pondichchery, demanding the French Government to release all those LTTE members who were rounded up and arrested on the April Fools day and are held under French Police custody.
