SLAF fighter jets launched two separate
air sorties today(March 4) at an identified LTTE underground
artillery storage North of Pooneryn in Kilinochchi district.
According
to MCNS officials, the precision air raids were carried-out
at around 12p.m., and 2.25p.m respectively.
The
LTTE underground facility was located 1.5km North of Pooneryn,
the sources further said..
Pilots
have confirmed the target was destroyed successfully.
