Yet another claymore mine explosion in Vavuniya : Six civilians also among the injured

LTTE terrorists continued their second claymore explosion for the day in Vavuniya, around 4.50 p.m. today (2nd March). The claymore bomb fixed push bicycle had been parked near wayside of a shop at "Sanasa Junction" in Wirapuliyankulam - Vavuniya.
Hence it was a rush hour; more civilians were gathered in the area as usually, when the bomb explosion occurred. Six innocent civilians reported injuries as a result of ruthless LTTE's claymore bomb explosion.
Two Police and two Civil Defence Force members were also injured due to the incident.
The injured were admitted to the general hospital in Vavuniya. One civilian lady, Police and Civil Defence Force personnel injured in the explosion were transferred to general hospital in Anuradhapura, for further medical treatments.
Army and Police combined search operations are continuing in the area.
