The
Government has nominated and appointed Dr. P.B. Jayasundera
as Chairman, SriLanka Airlines with immediate effect,
according to a media release from the Corporate Communication
Department of SriLankan Airlines.
Nishantha
Wickremesinghe, Lalith De Silva and Sunil Wijesinha have
been appointed Nominee Directors to represent the governmnet,
which holds 51.05% shares while Emirates Airline (holding
43.63%) willl continue to be represented by Tim Clark,
Fary Chapman and Nigel Hopkins.
