The Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Udayasir Kariyawasam along with his six Board of Directors have resigned form their posts.

The Chairman with the Directors has handed over the letter of resignations to Minister of Power and Energy W.D.J. Seneviratne yesterday (23).

Accordingly the Minister is to appoint a new Chairman for the CEB today (24).
