Sri Lanka Air Force MI-24 helicopter gun ships raided a gathering place of the LTTE terrorists located in general area 2Km north of Andankulam this afternoon, June 21.

Air Force spokesperson, Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkra, speaking to defence.lk said that the air raids were launched around 12.30 p.m in support of the ground troops advancing in Mannar front. Further he said that LTTE terrorists and few vehicles were also observed in this area.
