Four civilians of one family, father (51), mother (48) and two children (20 and 11), from un-cleared area of Mullaittivu sought refuge with security forces this morning, June 14.

These civilians who have fled the non-liberated areas after long endured hardships from the LTTE have crossed the Mullaittivu seas and reached to the security forces around 6.15 a.m. in south of Kokilai in Mullaittivu.

The civilians were later directed to an IDP centre, the sources added.
