Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets launched an air raid targeting LTTE Forward Defence Line in Muhamalai this morning, June 11.

Air Force spokesperson, Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara, speaking to defence.lk said that the air sorties were launched around 7.10 a.m observing intensified activities in the area.

The targets were successfully engaged though the exact damage caused to the enemy is yet to be ascertained, spokesperson further added.
