Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa met British Prime minister Gordon Brown at the British Prime Minister's official residence at No.10 Downing Street, London yesterday.

President Rajapaksa arrived at the official residence of the British Prime Minister accompanied by the Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama.

President also met the Commonwealth Secretary General Shri Kamalesh Sharma at the Commonwealth Secretariat prior to the Commonwealth Conference scheduled to commence today
