A box containing 82 detonators was found dumped in a drain near Nupey junction, along the Matara-Galle main road, Tuesday (July 15), at 4p.m.

The recovery was made during a search operation conducted by the Matara Police on information received from a civilian informant. Further investigations are continuing Matara Police sources said.
