WELLAWATTA: This evening (14) around 5.30pm a Special Police team went to arrest a LTTE suspect in MOORS Street, WELLAWATTA. At the time of arrest the suspect had tried to commit suicide by eating “cyanide”.

The suspect is currently being treated in the Colombo national hospital ICU. Police are conducting further inquires.
