Finalized military reports received from the Wanni battlefronts indicate that 32 terrorists were killed , 43 wounded and 3 more were either killed or wounded in yesterday's (July 10) offensives. Also, 4 soldiers were killed and 21 suffered injuries during these operations.

On the Vavuniya front in the Wanni theatre of operations, troops had series of clashes in the Palamodai, Naddankandal, Navvi, Ampaddankulam, and Panankamam areas during the day. Ground sources claimed that 16 terrorists were killed and 23 were injured during these incidents. Also, 3 soldiers were killed and 16 suffered injuries.

On the Welioya front, troops had daylong clashes with LTTE in the North of Kiriibbanwewa and North of Janakapura areas and claimed 6 terrorists were killed, 14 wounded and 3 more were either killed or wounded. Also, one soldier was killed and 3 injure.

On the Mannar front, troops attacked LTTE positions in the South of Vedithalthivu and Puliyankulama, areas and claimed 10 terrorists were killed and 6 wounded. 2 soldiers suffered injuries due to anti personnel mine explosions in the Thirukethiswaram area during morning hours.

Limited offensives are being continued.
