Intercepted radio communication among the LTTE terrorists have revealed that "Senkadeer" sea tiger base was almost destroyed in the recent air raids conducted by SL air force.

The defence intelligence sources said that the destroyed sea tiger base which was located at Alampil in the Mulaithivu district was one of the prominent terror training facilities. The terror base was being used to train LTTE cadres for both LTTE's sea and land wings. According to the details obtained through ground intelligence sources the base can accommodate at least 300 recruits.

The defence intelligence sources further said that though the exact damage is not known, the LTTE had ordered each family in Wanni to provide two pint of blood to the outfit following the attack.

"It is not unusual for the LTTE to take blood out of the civilians by force, but it rarely orders every family to give blood at a single occasion. It indicates a large number of casualties to the terror outfit" a senior defence intelligence official told defence.lk.

The LTTE is a terrorist outfit that is fighting for a mono ethnic separate state for the Tamils in Sri Lanka since 1983. Despite its self assumed "sole representative" status for the Tamil people in the world, LTTE has killed thousands of Tamil people, including a large number of Tamil intellectuals, Politicians, Religious leaders, and diplomats. During its two decades of terror campaign against SL citizens , over 65000 people have been killed in ethnic cleansing raids, bomb attacks , genocides carried out by the LTTE terrorists as ordered by their psychopathic leader V. Prabhakaran.
