The
intention of the so-called international community is
to accomplish tiger terrorists’ ‘Ealam’
dream says JVP Parliamentarian Vijithe Herath.
Speaking
to ‘Lankatruth’ on the strong opposition by
certain countries and international organization to the
decision taken by government of Sri Lanka to abrogate
CFA, Mr. Herath said, “The intention of the so-called
international community is to hand over the North and
the East to tiger terrorists. Their attempt is to continue
with the ceasefire agreement. Hence, it is normal that
the so-called international community objects to the abrogation
of CFA.”
Speaking
further Mr. Herath said, “When we look at how they
behaved during the past we could see how they represented
the needs of the tiger organization. International organizations
such as the UNO too blatantly backed the tiger organization.
Those who never condemned savage attacks by tiger terrorists
abhorred the attacks carried out by Defense Forces on
strategic points of the tigers. Hence, it is clear that
the intention of the so-called international community
is to establish a separate state for tiger terrorists.”
Abrogation
of the CFA has defeated the intention of so-called international
community said Mr. Herath adding that it was the UNP that
signed the traitorous agreement with tiger organization
without informing any others and betrayed sovereignty
and territorial integrity of the Motherland. “The
abrogation of the CFA is a victory achieved by the patriotic
masses of this country; it would not hamper any exercise
carried out by Defense Forces and it is when the CFA is
withdrawn the Defense Forces could carry out their operations
correctly and with valour, said Mr. Herath.
