TMVP Pilleyan group and UPFA have signed a MoU to contest local government elections at Batticaloa. Pilleyan signed for TMVP and Minister and General Secretary of UPFA Minister susil Premajayanthe signed on behalf of the two parties.
According to the MoU Batticaloa Municpal council would be contested under therbetel leaf – the symbol pof UPFA and other bodies in Batticaaloa district will be contested under TMVP symbol.
