Twelve LTTE carders including two female carders were reported killed in confrontation with the Security Forces in Mannar yesterday (18), Media Center for National Security (MCNS) informs.   Three LTTE bunkers located in an LTTE strongpoint were also completely destroyed, MCNS added.
The dead include of a group of terrorists who had arrived to support Tigers engaged in attacks with the troops.

Meanwhile in Vavuniya seven LTTE terrorists were killed and an LTTE bunker completely destroyed during confrontations with troops yesterday (18). One soldier was reported killed in this incident
