An infiltration attempt made by a
group of LTTE terrorists was averted by the security forces
causing heavy damages to the enemy in Jaffna defences this
morning, January 10.
According
to the available information, troops have observed a LTTE
movement ahead of the Forward Defence Line (FDL) at Muhamalai
in Jaffna. An LTTE terrorist was killed while many others
sustained injuries in this clash erupted at 8.55 a.m, defence
sources in Jaffna said.
