The anti-terrorist unit of the police has been able to arrest two more priests from Batticaloa and Nuwara-eliya with 18 suicide kits.

The anti- terrorist unit was able to arrest the two priests from information obtained from a priest arrested at Saliyapura recently. When a priest was questioned he had confessed that he had transported 7 suicide kits to Nuwara-eliya. They also have transported several such suicide kits to Kandy and Bandarawela areas.

About four priests of fundamental religious sects have been arrested by the police in relation to terrorist activities and in questioning them it has been revealed that about 30 suicide bombers have been transported to the southern areas from Wanni.
