SCATS Sri Lanka, the country branch of
one of the key Sri Lankan social and welfare institutions
in Australia, last week appointed Mr. Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon
as its new President unanimously during the institution’s
Annual General Meeting.
Presently Mr. Tennakoon is serving as the Coordinating Secretary
to the Minister of Local Government and Provincial Council.
AGM of SCATS Sri Lanka was held at the hotel Trans Asia.
Following are the new Office Bearers selected during the
AGM.
President - Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon
Vice Prsidents – Dalton Kahawela
W. M Bandara
Secretary - Tilak Alahakoon
Treasurer – Ananda Weerasinghe
Asst. Treasurer – Mervin Rodrigo
International Relations President- Gamini Perera
Media Secretary – Daya Lankapura
In addition, a new Executive Committee consisting 20 members
was also appointed.
Former President Wasantha Jayasinghe, Former Treasurer Berty
Mihindukulasooriya, Gamini Perera and Dixon. J . Perera
addressed the event and to conclude, the new Secretary Tilak
Alahakoon presented the vote of thanks.
