Prabhakaran’s Intensified Genocide Mission but Human Right Groups'
Maintain Complete Silence

Since from February 2nd to 4th, Prabhakaran’s LTTE had killed 41 innocent civilians including school children and women, and wounded about 189 innocent civilians. It is very surprising to note that the so called Human Rights groups has so far failed to condemned the LTTE's brutal attacks of innocent civilians, most observers noted.

Do they justify those attacks? The so called Human Rights groups try always used their level best to stop military operations in north making statements that Civilian Human rights were being violated. When LTTE kills innocent civilians in the other parts of the country do they think that human rights were not violated by the Tamil Tigers? This clearly indicates that the so called human rights groups are clearly identifying themselves with the LTTE terrorists?

During the time when the Ceasefire Agreement was in operation since 2002 February, the Army did not check the Tamils who came to South from North and, because Ranil Wickremesinghe Government was hallucinating about world of peace.

Then Defence Ministry even removed road blocks and instructed police and army not to check any Tamil civilians coming from north and east. LTTE taking this favorable climate smuggled as much of explosives to Colombo and to suburbs to kill the innocent civilians and to target Government leaders and security forces officials.

LTTE's aim is to achieve two objectives. One is to provoke communal hatred and prepare suitable climate for an ethnic flare up in the country. They are under the impression when a communal riots broke out in the south, LTTE claiming to be representing the Tamils would be able to win back the sympathy and support from the international community.

However this ploy of the LTTE is known even to a small child in the south and so far they failed to be provoked even under very trying situations. Majority of the Sinhalese are aware of LTTE’s ploy and they remain calm and provide their maximum help and support to Tamils living in the South. Furthermore they are aware in case there is any communal disharmony and riots in the south then that would disturb the military operation in the North.

The second objective of LTTE to set off blasting bombs in the south and provoke everyone is to think that troops will withdraw from north and be brought back for security purposes in the South. Army Commander Lt. General Sarath Fonseka said it will never happen. "My troops will continue their operations to eliminate Terrorists," he said.
