Reggie
Ranatunga, Governor of of Sabaragamuwa, was sworn in this
morning (21) as MP for Gampaha District from the Sri Lanka
Freedom Party (SLFP) to fill the seat rendered vacant
by the sudden demise of Sripathy Sooriarachchi through
a fatal accident recently.
Reggie
Ranatunga had obtained the next highest amount of Preferential
votes at the last General Elections .
