As Advancing Army Troops inflict more damages to the LTTE in Vavuniya and Mannar fronts, Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Sarath Fonseka visited Wanni area to give further instructions on future security arrangements in those areas on Saturday (9) morning.

Commander Security Forces Headquarters Wanni (SFHQ-W) Major General Jagath Jayasuriya received the visiting Commander accompanied by a few Senior Officers from the Army Headquarters on his arrival.

Army Commander was later guided to the SFHQ - Wanni auditorium where he met a gathering of Senior Ground Commanders who briefed him on the security situation in their respective areas.
