3 LTTE terrorists were reported killed, sniped by troops of the 57 Division now consolidating defences in the newly liberated Thunukkai area, Mullaittivu today (August 23).

According to Wanni military sources, Army infantrymen are on the trails of those terrorists who now fleeing the area following yesterday's heavy fighting.

The 3 terrorists were killed in two separate attacks between 8.45 and 9a.m., the sources said.
