British
High Commission in Sri Lanka today launched a new website
in order to engage more effectively with the public in
Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan government and the British public
interested in Sri Lanka.
The
High Commission said the new website uses sophisticated
technology and will be quicker and easier to navigate
than our old site.
“We
will use the new technology to improve our online services,
to make use of new interactive features and to meet the
changing needs of our customers. We have updated and expanded
the information from our old website to launch our new
website. The new site is flexible – we will be able
to adapt it to make use of new forms of web engagement.
This means the way we present our information and deliver
our services will evolve to be available to customers
in a way that suits them, the user. Over the coming months
we hope to expand our use of the site’s interactive
capability,” explained British High Commission.
The
new site is accessible at www.ukinsrilanka.fco.gov.uk
