Troops have launched an attack targeting LTTE bunker defences in general area Thirukethiswaran in Mannar front this morning, April 06. According to the information reached from Mannar front, the attack was launched around 9.20 a.m and four LTTE terrorists were killed in this fresh attack. An LTTE bunker was also completely destroyed due to the attack, sources further added.

Meanwhile, three LTTE terrorists were killed by the army snipers deployed in general areas Parappakandal, Adampan and Thirukethiswaran, sources further said.
